I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Technology from Temple University, where I was introduced to software development through C#, Windows Forms, and full-stack web applications using ASPX and ASP.NET Core MVC.
I discovered my passion for software engineering five years ago while struggling to choose a college major. After taking an Intro to Programming course, I started building tools to solve real problems. My first projects was a flashcards app for a friend in medical school.
As I gained more experience, I found that I loved teaching others as much as I loved building software. I began tutoring my classmates and eventually became a department tutor for both IST and Computer Science students at Temple.
I especially enjoy working in teams and focusing on the architecture and back-end development of projects. That passion for learning led me to enroll in back-end focused courses through boot.dev, where I'm currently building skills in Python, Go, SQL, Docker, Linux, and more.
I’m currently looking for opportunities to grow as a back-end developer and contribute to impactful projects. If you think we'd be a good fit, feel free to reach out: brandonwhited0@proton.me.

"Owly" is an AI mental heath chatbot that helps provides Temple Students with non medical advice and resources avalible from Temple University. I built the backend for this project in an agile team and leveraged Microservices when designing and implementing the architecture.
